A poster I made after an episode in Omniverse, where Azumuth came to warn an 11 Year Old Ben, that he was overusing Feedback, and it was not wise to overuse one alien.The joke is that Ben used Humongousour a lot in UAF.

Funny that in the original serie Granpa Max never admonished Ben for overusing Four Arms or Diamondhead.
Besides... Ben didnΒ΄t supposed to have a trauma since he felt guilty for overusing Feedback and causing his death? But in UAF he never hesitated about overusing any alien... maybe because OV is an alternate universe, not a sequel.

Maybe it's not simply overusing aliens that's the problem, perhaps it's overusing that particular alien(hell, TV Tropes even has "G-Rated Drug" listed as one of the things in Feedback's description).

I wondered if it was an AU myself, until I read a statement saying its a continuation.
Maybe because he did not use only Four Arms or Diamondhead? he did use some others inbetween. I think the problem is that he was only using Feedback, and nothing else for awhile, and apparently that is dangerous.

What is funny is that the Omnitrix didnΒ΄t start to turn him into other aliens when Ben wanted Feedback - thatΒ΄s what happened in the original serie, the device seemed to have some will of its own and tried to teach something to Ben.

I've heard that theory before, about the Omnitrix switching the aliens to something it thought Ben should use, or something that would teach him a lesson. Its an interesting theory
Especially since, whatever he 'accidentally' transforms into, its mostly something he can use anyway... most of the time XD

I think Grandpa Max did say something among the lines of that. He was mainly referring to his brute aliens (Four Arms, Diamondhead, etc.) I believe it was the episode entitled "Hunted". He was telling Ben not to continuously use the same strong man aliens.Β

Its funny because in Omniverse, Ben still keeps trying to use Humongousaur, but keeps mistaking the icon on the new Omnitrix for something else. So even still, he keeps trying to overuse poor Humongousaur!

That would explain another big question, since Azmuth said in the end of Ultimate Enemy that was the best Omnitrix and more advanced than the Ultimatrix (not these words, I know, but thatΒ΄s more or less what he said) - and this "advanced" Omnitrix brings the wrong alien just like the others.

Yeah, I think Ben needs to start watching what he dials, and not blame the Omnitrix when he gets something he did not want XD Its a habit he's had since the OS. I think for awhile, in UA, I was getting really annoyed with it to the point I was frustrated. But I got over it XD

I'm more interested on how he screwed up when they were holograms! I mean, the alien showed up above the Omnitrix before he hit it, you'd think he would see what alien he selected before hitting the dial XD

True, but the Omnitrix/Ultimatrix might think there is a different alien that should be used to handle the situation.

XD I do find that ridiculous. There was even proof that the Omnitrix didn't mess up in previous seasons...he had the alien that was dialed right there! He just has a bad habit of not looking at the Omnitrix and expecting it to be something he wants

I've seen the list on Ben 10 Planet. He got used another 10 times in Omniverse. Almost as much as all of Feedback's shown appearances. I could never figure out why the writers used him so much. The only thing I could find is according to Dwayne, Fourarms was locked out for a long time and he became the alien he depended on for strength.

Swampfire, too - especially in the first AF 2 seasons.
And never got any problem with that, except some complaining from the fans. Besides, Ben overused Four Arms in the original serie, and Max never picked on him because of this.
