On my Paintool Sai I was using the brush tool and it didn't work when I started to color, and I noticed that none of my tools in "New Layer" won't work, but on "New Linework" layer tools will. Can you help me with this problem? Is there a certain setting that I may have clicked?

I don't know if you have solved your problem or not by now
but with the linework layer, that is a vector layer, thus has different tools that work with it that appear when you click on the layer
the regular new layer is for painting and drawing just like normal though.

Strange it didn't come with it, but there's an easy way to fix it. Just right click on one of the empty boxes in the tool section and select "pencil" and you'll have a pencil brush!Β

This is a Paint Tool SAI tutorial, so you just replicate the settings that the picture is showing. You create a new brush and adjust the settings.

If you change the settings on the brush, and then you right click then drag to where you want the brush to go, just press copy and there'll be a copy of the brush with all the settings. :3
