I don't see how helpful this is.
Add green, now draw scales. Now make them yellow. Now make them shiny. Shinier. Even shinier. Now green again.

No actually I agree with Justin, I'd love to read a description of each step. It seems like a very interesting effect and I don't understand the proccess just from the images.
Don't dismiss every feedback as salt, it's does not encourage other people to express their thoughts.

Same thing with her bubble "tutorial". Idk what the hell I'm supposed to get out of that.

Some artists are not very comfortable with writing in english since it's not their native language, I get that. Sometimes I'm not very confident with my english either. I just find it unhelpful when members are called salty or jealous just because they express their frustration with some tutorials. I mean we're here to give and receive feedback (among other reasons). It's ok to ask someone for clarifications as long as you are polite and civil.

Nope. He most likely used simple, quick brush strokes.

This tutorial is great if you know how to apply it to your work, like most people don't seem to do. Also, most of the other comments can't seem to have any fun. Also, you do realize Ryky doesn't speak very good English? Sheesh.
If you took the time to look at the difference between each step you can learn.

To be honest. No matter how much I try to copy this tutorial. It's useless. This is literally a step by step.

Hiding my comments? Because you didn't like the comments where I pointed out how you're copying other peoples tutorials and demonstrating how you understand them? And then you're posting these as "your tutorials" Ah, niiiiiice. Well, at least I know the real truth.

Well, I did say in my comment (I'm pretty I said this) that ryky is either copying from one tutorial or he's taking a little from one here and a little there.
Whatever he's doing it's getting him the attention that he needs to feel whatever he needs to feel whatever about.
I'm done with him and his "step by steps" and his "tutorials." I don't have time to debate about what another artist did or didn't do.
Because, I have my own artwork to work on, and get better at, so I can make money and not just piss ryky's fans off.
I draw, I paint, I sculpt, I design, I'm an animator, and I also teach. I don't have time to care about all of this.
I have work to do!!! Talk to you later, if you wish to discuss anything else other than all of this nonsense.
I'm not angry or pissed off or whatever people want to think. I'm in a hurry, a rush. Because time is always against us
and I must work my ass off in order to keep up with the industry.
Bye bye now. ...nothin' but love.

I was just telling 'cause this is not a copy at all of Yuuza's work. I'm not pisses either 'cause I really don't care about what you think, it was just the fact that I didn't get why were you comparing Yuuza's and ryky's work, that's all.

"this is not a copy at all of Yuuza's work" So I'm blind now, am I? LOL
The way you said all of this and everything else. This gives me the impression that you were trying to catch me in a lie or catch me off guard or whatever.
Are you another fan of rykys that just wants to argue on his behalf?
I'm sure that if ryky wanted to, he could just hide the comments again or have them deleted (somehow).
And if he cared about what you or I were argue/discussing, he could have commented too.
I don't have time to waste on people that just want to fight or that feel the need to get the last word every goddamn time.
I am done with this conversation/discussion. I have art to create and I'm sure that you do too.
Good day!

And I said "I didn't get why were you comparing Yuuza's and ryky's work, that's all". If you weren't like that, mad about everything and anything, everything would be easier. I love how ryky draw the eyes, but I'm not a 'fan'.
If you could explain how this is a copy then I'll listen to it.
Now if you don't like how I spoke, I'm not english so it's pretty hard to explain myself while I'm speaking, sorry if it seems a bit aggressive or I don't know what.
Here. And calm down. '-'

If I say that I'm not angry or whatever well, then I'm not. *holy shit* AH HA HA HA HA HA Someone told me to calm down.
I told you already, but you still didn't understand me, Aaaaaand you are another person on this post that just has to have the last word.
Even when I say I am done with this conversation, you will still keep pestering me.
I really wish text or typed conversations didn't send the wrong message. Because the perceived overall tone of each other can really make for some stupid arguments.
Oh yeah! Aaaaaand...

Whatever. His stuff is shiny and that's all people want is a bunch of shiny stuff that's colourful. Who needs to learn how to do things the right way. And yes there is a right way and a wrong way when it comes to tutorials and also creating fantasy stuff. There still has to be a few real world rules applied. Perspective, Light and Shadows, Anatomy, Proportions, and so on.
I'm a tutor at my school of art, and my instructors/professors have a ton of respect for what I do, create, and teach. Most of ryky's tutorials would not be even consider acceptable, but I guess people want to learn how to do it wrong.

There is such thing as having a different style, you know... Personally, I think those real world rules you said are applied correctly.
By the by, in the art world, there is no wrong. There's only styles and beginners. Just teach and learn without being too harsh and you could be the best you can be. uvu

If you think there's a right and wrong way on how to create art, you shouldn't be an art instructor, or anywhere near teaching creative minds.
Limiting a person's creativity by telling them their art style is wrong, is outr right horrendous.

I'm not saying everything that ryky demonstrates is wrong, but a demonstration is not the same thing as a tutorial.
If ryky is demonstrating how to draw his style or a style that he's trying to emulate, then that's something else.
Example time!
If ryky was demonstrating how to draw or paint like Ghibli Studios and it didn't look anything like a Miyazaki character.
Could you honestly say that ryky's demonstration was helpful? Did it teach you how to draw Totoro accurately?
Most people would say no.
There is a right way and wrong way to teach art. If ryky, you, or I were teaching how to paint like Peter Paul Rubens, or draw like Jhonen Vasquez, or draw like Disney. And if any one of these styles didn't reflect the exact same methods or design pattens/over all look; wouldn't it be fair to say that non of us were teaching how to do these the right way.
No one really has their own art style. Everything that we create is a copy of or off of someone else's work. This is a proven fact.
I'm sure that if ryky honestly disagreed with me he would comment or block me all together.
