:/ her hair seems to vary according to the light she's in (if you're going by the show. lol) I like it best when it has the golden hue to it. It makes her seem more innocent or something. XD
(Oh and I finally got around to watching season two of hbo's series. ;o; very disappointing! the changes were nearly unbearable lol)

Yeah that's why I stopped watching after the first season. I've heard they've made a ton of changes and it just irks me a bit. I know Martin is somewhat in charge of it but they focus on things that aren't important, drag on others and make a lot of characters ooc or don't even add them. Egh.
Yeah, the golden hue is nice hehe, it makes her look more livelier too, not as...odd I guess with white/silver hair.

I started paying attention to who wrote each episode as I watched them and you could tell what was done by Martin and what was by the other writer. And even Martin changes some things up which I just couldn't understand. :/ I know they have a limited budget and only 10 episodes but still...-_-;
I have hopes for the next season though since they're going to be giving the third book 20 episodes split into 2 seasons. >_> High hopes man. lol

Were the Martin ones better or worse? And yeah ASoIaF isn't suited for the 13 episode HBO format.
It's good they're splitting up the third book. I kind of wish they could have done that with the first and second book. Hopefully it'll have better pacing now.

The sad part is, even his episodes had their "wtf" changes. >w< I just pretty much hated the entire second season all the way around. lol. My husband enjoyed it but he didn't read the books. >_> really hoping the next few seasons will give me better hope lol.

He needs to read the books hehe. They're much better. I heard Joff's character changed a lot and that made me cringe.

o.o So far Joff is the least touched character to me anyways. I view him as a twisted little freak and I promise you they kept him that way. If anything they just gave his character some more actions to back up his ways, if that makes any sense. >_> However Daenerys....I dunno they just made her seem so desperate and cocky...which was super lame. -_-; Bleh. THinking about all this is making me less excited for the next season lol.

Aww. That's what I liked about Dany is that she's timid but then grows confident, if a bit crazy in her thinking, but then by ADWD she's too stubborn to see she's screwed up. I don't like that they've changed her character in the show. Egh. She was one of my faves until ADWD.
I was really disappointed when they kept moving book 2 stuff to season 1, like with Cat and Jaime meeting.

I love that you mentioned the moving stuff around and that particular scene because that was exactly my thoughts as well. XD Ugh it burned me so bad I started cursing and my husband just looked at me like "the hell is your problem woman" lol. >_< I currently working on reading storm of swords and thanks to season two I know I probably just need to finish the damn books before watching any new seasons because they keeping throwing crap around from everywhere. -.-; I just can't believe they feel the need to do that...they don't have enough room in the series as it is and they just have to include other books content.
sorry for the rant. It just kills me that the cool stuff gets cut and insignificant/spoiler scenes get all the attention.

Yeah, it was annoying. My husband didn't want to watch it at all, and what he did see though he didn't like. And yeah my favourite books are 1-3. It kind of gets bogged down with other things after that and I'm not sure how they're working with the seasons and books so it's better to read them all beforehand.
And yeah I agree, I don't like it when things are changed so drastically or insignificant things are expounded upon while the important plot and character development is changed or not touched.

Haha well they're not bad. It's just that the first three are really concentrated and since he couldn't just released AFFC as one book, it got split into two (AFFC and ADWD) and so you're stuck in one region for one book and the other half of the world for the other. It's not bad but I'm so used to jumping around more in the series that it's kind of boring at times.
That and he introduces even more characters so...there's that too. @_@ haha. He can be very frustrating at times haha. I just want to see how it will all end.

Haha oh, it happens. In ADWD he adds a whole new set. @_@
In AFFC it's mostly set in the south with the Martells and Iron Islands and in ADWD it's in Easteros (yes that's the new continent name) and focuses on new characters and Dany. I forget who else but yeah, it departs a lot from Westeros.
What chapters do you not find interesting? I find all of them interesting except for the last two books were kinda boring and ADWD made me really not like Dany anymore.

The main chapters that bore me are the ones with Jon (it frustrates me that with a war going on there is even more shiz the world has to worry about. that stuff happens but still. lol) And I'm a little frustrated with Daenerys lately. :/ I don't like how her character is progressing...

I actually like Jon haha, so that never bothered me. I actually like a lot of the characters so I never felt bored. Maybe it was the waiting but I was bored with ADWD...but I hope you enjoy it.
And also with Jon's story it gets better. It may seem kind of removed but that's because it is hehe. But it'll pick up soon.
Yeah...Dany made me really not like her in the last book. You'll see hehe.
Westeros is my favourite part haha. It's interesting to know more about the other areas in the world but at the same time I'm not with my core group of characters anymore, and I miss that.

Though I got kinda frustrated this morning when I was reading because nothings surprises me anymore. T_T Just imagine terrible things and give up hope and you have what Martin is going to throw at you.

Yeah, well I think it is by the time you get to ADWD, since I don't believe she's in AFFC. She grows up quite a bit.
A friend told me he was listening to an interview with Martin nad he said that if his characters start to get a happy ending, or hope or something like that, then he rewrites it to give them bad endings. Like he doesn't want anyone to be happy. o_o Wat?
