Description
This is Lt. Mress, from the animated series of Star Trek. I actually never saw it.I did read the New Frontier books though, and I did a Google search to see what she looked like. I was kind of disappointed, so I went and drew her myself. Cause cat girls in Star Trek uniforms are always enjoyable.
She's supposed to be holding a Feinburger tricorder, but I was going off of memory and it's not especially accurate.

If you'd like to see The Animated Series, it's on Netflix if you can get that.
Oh, and a Feinberger is not the type of tricorder, they're the little hand-held devices that people using the tricorder (usually) wave over something or someone to feed data into the tricorder, they usually have a readout of their own on the bottom. In 1966 reality, they were salt shakers that didn't look futuristic enough and were adapted by one Irving Feinberg to be 23rd century scientific gizmos. Trivia!

I did know they were salt shakers Feinberg found. There is something delightful about finding a Trekkie hardcore enough to even notice that kind of thing. That just made my morning.

I know that there have been some New Frontier comics out lately but I haven't been able to make it to a comic store lately to get them. But it's not the same to me at all. D: I prefer his novels to his comic works (despite my love of comics).

Yeah, I thought she deserved more.... I found her in a book first, of course, so I had my own ideas about what she looked like before I did a wikipedia search on her.
