Here's another promotional pic for the Arcos Arc of Honor Trip!

You've seen Arcos from a bird's-eye view, but here you can get a sense for what's it like on the ground. In short, much, much more forbidding! This concept art gives you an idea of what the general environment is like: dark, claustrophobic forests, with tons of tripwire roots & strangling vines to hamper any inexperienced visitors lost in the forest. I would like to think that my hot, stuffy office environment acted as my muse for this; I can almost feel the suffocating, oppressive atmosphere, lol.

I had both fun & frustration with this picture. I knew the roots were going to be a challenge, so I wisely used some references. Most were from Google, but I'd like to credit kityngirl for her stock photo. For the rest, it was just a matter of tedious, diligent, patient work. Lots of tedious work.
