Black Pearl, a rare gem from Homeworld, and Bloodstone's personal pearl

Unlike all the other pearls on homeworld, Black Pearl was undesirable and was considered ugly. After she was created, all the Gems on homeworld beleived her to be a defect and thus nobody wanted her. without anyone to claim her she lived a life of lonlyness, that was until she was discovered by General Bloodstone, who saw beauty in her, and offered her a good home with him.

Black Pearl's Behaivor:

Before Bloodstone: Sad, timid, lonly, quite, non social, easily frightened

After Bloodstone: happy, devoted, careing, tad flirty, tad clingy, loyal

Short Story

Scene: Gem homeworld

Bloodstone was reporting back to Pink Diamond, when suddenly he heard someone crying, and went to check to see who it was. It didn't take him long to find the source of the crying, and to his surprise he found a sad little pearl all lone, and without an owner.

Bloodstone: Hey there miss, you okay?

(Black pearl was a little frightened by Bloodstone's presence)

Bloodstone: It's okay, i'm not gonna hurt you.

Black Pearl: who....who are you?

Bloodstone: (smiles warmly) Names Bloodstone, whats your name?

Black Pearl:...I...I'm Black Pearl

Bloodstone: Black Pearl huh? cute name you have there, do you have an owner?

Black Pearl: (tears up)...no.....nobody wants me...everyone says i'm ugly..and that i'm a defect, and that nobody would want a pearl like me

Bloodstone: Huh, Now why would they say that, your just as beautiful as any other pearl, in fact i think your the prettiest one I've ever seen ^^

Black Pearl: Wha...Y...your not lieing are you?

Bloodstone: No not at all

Black Pearl: (blushes a bit) Y...You really think i'm pretty?

Bloodstone: Of course i do, I've never seen a black pearl before. I've seen yellow, green, blue, white, pink, pretty much every pearl known to gem kind, but never have i seen a black pearl before, so to me that makes you a very rare and beautiful gem ^^

Black Pearl: (blushes and hides her face) hehehe stop it, your making blush =//w//=

Bloodstone: Hey it's true....you know what screw what all the other gems think, if you want an owner then i'll be happy to claim you as my own ^^

(Black Pearl's eyes are filled with hope, she never thought anyone would ever want her, but here this gem warrior was offering her a place by his side, wishing to claim her)

Black Pearl: (smiles) Y..you mean it, you really want me as your pearl?

Bloodstone: Sure do, that is if you want me as your owner, if you do i promise to take good care of you, and not only that, but i'll treat as an equal too, that way you won't be just my servant, but also my friend ^^

(Bloodstone offered his hand to Black pearl, and without a moments hesitation she took it. She then jumped in his arms and hugged him tight)

Black Pearl: (cries happily) Thank you thank you thank you, I promise i won't let you down sir ^^

Bloodstone: just call me bloodstone sweetheart =w=

(bloodstone then took her hand and lead her back to Pink Diamonds Palace. However on the way there a few gems started harassing Black Pearl, and started calling her ugly. this of course not only upset her but Bloodstone as well)

Bloodstone: Unless you wish for me to shatter you, i suggest you all shut your traps! It sickens me how poorly you treat this beautiful pearl. Since i'm in a hurry i'll let you off with a warning, but insult my Pearl again, or so much as upset her i'll cut you down where you stand.

(After hearing his words, all the gems go silent in fear, and Bloodstone is able to take his new friend back to Pink Diamond's palace. Since then Black Pearl has devoted herself to serve Bloodstone and has lived a happy life with him)
