Happy New Year!My first comedy TF comic since Dec 2009! That one's here: [link]
So this one was actually sketched when I was riding a bus to work a loooong time ago. A silly notion, really, but it still caught my eye when I was deciding what to draw a few days ago.
A few notes:
Panel 1: The green color of Lambodad is an actual color that the Lambo Countach was sold in. (windows are custom!)
Panel 2: I pulled a Rob Liefeld. Red's rocket changes shoulders...
Panel 3: Sideswipe is referring to my black and white comic where he performs jet judo on Thrust! Here-> [link]
Panel 4: I've always been a tech-spec freak, so I was always so pissed that Red Alert was a lambo but his speed was a '3'. At least in my expanded universe, his speed is a '4'.
Another Rob Liefield -- Sideswipe's rocket launcher disappears.
Panel 5: The punch line. "Yellow Streak". This was actually a naming mistake my friend actually made! It inspired this comic.

HAHA! The punchline "Yellow streaker" (or yellowstreak) was actually something a friend said when trying to remember Sunstreaker's name!

omg that's hilarious xD I love watching my non-TF friends try to guess/remember names. I've gotten some golden responses before. My very best friend once gave up and just started calling them all something that ends in "-man", e.g. Smokescreen = Smokeman, Sunstreaker = Sunman...she even forgot that Rumble is only named Rumble and called him "Rumbleman" xD

How did I miss this comment?? It's sooooo funny! Gosh now I wish I could remember more mistaken names for TFs.
Speaking of which, there was a person on dA that was making up new transformers, and he surmised that because there is a Sun"streak"er and Blue"streak", that "streak" was something that might repeat in Transformers naming, so he came up with a bunch of ---Streak characters. I thought that was a cool idea, like --"wave" could be a decepticon common name (Soundwave, Shockwave, ...).
