She survived many hard ships and heart breaks, and she carries herself with the regal ways of a knight after the battle. She is not vain, nor cocky, simply proud of herself as a mare, and she often encourages others to be proud of their achievements, no matter how small they may seem.

FOAL

Born to the Solstice, Gwen grew up with a loving mother and father. Adeline and Ryko were deeply in love. As a foal she developed a friendship that bloomed between 14 year old Gwen and a young colt Keeper called Levan. Their friendship steadily grew into love, though it was never fully realized. Innocent, young, and in love, the two would spend hours together playing and pretending to be unicorns and other silly things.

TEENAGER
One day, a sad day, a new mare and filly arrived to their herd. A beautiful filly, so pale she was like mist in the morning sunrise. Leonardi, father to Levan, adored the small child. In Leonardi's eyes Gwen was unworthy of his son. In a show of power, he forbid Gwen from ever seeing his son again.

Gwen was distraught, and ran away in her emotional state. She was found by an Infected 7 years older than herself. The dark stallion known as Titan seemed like a hero at first, despite what she had been told of the Infected, drawing Gwen in with his charm and kindness. Titan lead the mare to the Warhead Clan, and she followed, believing Titan when he claimed to be one of the 'good infected' and was leading her towards rescue. When she found herself trapped in a cave deep within Infected territory, she realized her mistake.

Gwen was 14, and surprised herself by developing feelings for Titan. Two years past in her captive hell, and Titan was kind to the mare. Though she was a prisoner, he was a sweet friend whom she grew to love... At the age of 16, Gwen fell pregnant, and she was overjoyed with happiness. Her first foal was born, a colt, whom she named Elixir. However, her healthy son was soon stolen from her... His eyes were Black. Devastated, Gwen abandoned her first child outside of her cave, and Titan took it away to be raised by the Queen. Titan was angry; he had wanted a normal foal, for which Gwen believed was a show of his good heart. But his anger was wild, and that night Gwen received her first bruises from her 'mate'.

Only one year past and she had another son. She named him Troy, and the child was a handsome chestnut. Titan was so pleased to have a normal son! Until a fate most cruel came to pass. For the first time, Titan was letting Gwen outside. She was loyal to him now and would not leave. However, Titan was gone one day and another infected stumbled across the mare. Gwen was attacked, and Troy was slaughtered by the Infected. Titan was enraged that his careless mate had once again failed as a mother. Gwen's pain was only added to as Titan all but murdered his mate. Gwen was no longer allowed outside.

Why did Gwen not run from this life? Titan had grown cruel as the years passed, true, but Gwen had failed to see her life for what it was. Titan manipulated and brainwashed his pet, and Gwen was unbeknownst to her stockholme syndrome.

ADULT
Gwen would birth her third and final foal for Titan at the precious age of 19; a beautiful filly she named Phillipa. Titan was glad for a normal daughter. It had slowly come to Gwen's attention that she was ill - finally, she understand she was being abused. Finally, she saw that not only herself, but Phillipah, needed to run from this life of manipulation and torment.

Gwen made a plan. The night before Pillipah's 16th birthday the mares would escape. Gwen did not wish her daughter, to suffer as she had under Titans hold. She wished for her home among the Solstice. Surely the Solstice would take them in once more? She was innocent.

Gwen made it, but not without a price. Gwen's daughter had been captured as they had fled, and now Phillipah was alone with Titan. Arriana pleaded to go back, until the council declared they must all go into hiding as some kind of human bomb threatened to blow.

In the madness, Gwen was unable to find her daughter.

ELYSIUM
The dark hour began, and Gwen barely kept herself together. Elixir becoming infected, Troy being slaughtered, and now her Phillipah was lost. Eventually as the days grew into months, a calm peace came to Gwenevre. She had to accept her life and move one. Once free, she swore to search for Phillipah, and that she did.

To this day Gwen searches for her daughter. She joined Firestone so she could learn to fight, and once strong enough, go searching for Titan and free her daughter. In addition, Gwen threw herself into the human study of psychology, understanding her own sicknesses and now treating others in Elysium.
