The princess fell from her home-land star, and landed without a sound in the hollow of warmth and silence. She laid there so long and so still that she became entwined with the barks of the tree she nested upon and her skin festered where flower seeds were dropped. When the Prince finally found the fallen princess, animals made have already made their home in the hollow of her belly and in the tangles of her hair. The Princess was too tired to move, and so she laid their in her own filth, and was disgusted by the Prince who stood at her feet giving nothing, but consolation to the heart he shattered.Drawing and Painting homework: final project. i'm actually not very happy with how this came out. I fucked up on the perspective and the colors are too muddy; I blame hot pressed watercolor paper.

I think this is really gorgeous - the story as well as the painting. I love how subtle all the colors are, and then there's the turquoise, that isn't too strong but still catches the eyes!
