Oil on Linen (70cm x 100cm) With palette knives

This is a painting of the Combin massif, a beautiful view from Verbier, Switzerland. I have abstracted out the colours a bit, to make them stronger and a little bizarre. Its almost impossible for me to capture the true colours of this piece, suffice to say the sky is pink & purple and the mountains are blue, apart from where the sun 'licks' the mountain before it sets.
