Years ago, when I was in High School, I loved Dragon Ball Z more than life itself. And since I liked drawing, I started drawing db.

I decided to actually draw every character, in all their forms, from the beginning of Dragon Ball, all the way to the epilogue of Dragon Ball Z. I don't count GT, since I only considered the manga official.

Okay, so I'm a little crazy.

So I have this little folder marked "DBZ" that has, among power level lists and timelines, a several page long list of all the characters. The first section of the list is dated May 15, 2002. The first character is the hero, Goku.

Here is one of the best Goku drawings I've ever done, dated June 27, 2006. It depicts Kid Goku, when we first meet him, holding his Nyoibo (Power Pole) and standing atop his Kinto-Un (Nimbus Cloud). Tied to his belt is a sack holding his Grandpa's 4-star Dragon Ball.

I made the cloud Pink, instead of yellow, because that's how it looks in most colored manga pages. Plus, I think the name translates to Candy Cloud. Like it's cotton candy.

My Kid Goku is NOT the GT Kid Goku. As you can see, it looks a lot more like the early Dragon Ball Goku. I just added more detail. I was very firm about not copying the versions from the Dragon Ball movie, Path to Power, when I did these.

This is Goku when we first meet him. 12 years old, happy, strong, and ready for an adventure.
