Same old, which is to say far too hectic. Just getting settled again and recovering from computer trouble. There was some lady trouble as well but I'm sure I can spare the details. I have been drawing a lot though and feel as if I've leveled up so to speak. You'll see soon enough once I post the rest of the new stuff. I've unfortunately only made minor progress with any actual relevant work (my comic) but oh well.

Hahahahaha that's funny. Without going into too much depressing detail, it kinda really fucked me up. On the plus side, it is kind of motivating in a way and getting shit done will be a good outlet, much like what you've been up to, I suppose.
I'll def take a look and comment on your newer stuff. Sucks about the weather, it's getting cold as fuck here.

That sucks, I'm sorry.
Not sure if this is any better, but the girl I was seeing was super into me and damn near perfect, but also totally not over her shitty ex, who she's gone back to, I think. Or trying. I don't know. It was a constant rollercoaster for the 8 months we'd been seeing each other and this last month was just the fucking worst. I really tried my ass off, but nice guys finish last I guess. Maybe I'll just start being a right fucking bastard from now on.
While I am grateful for a job, I also hate it. But lives and learns, you know? Gotta pay the bills until I can do this shit for a living.

Job hunting sucks, things are tough all around. It's why I'm stuck where I am as well. While I can certainly understand and relate to your feelings about being unemployed and having to rely on your rents (for the time being), don't get too down about it!
First, your concern shows that you are a good person. There are a lot of shitbags out there who would take advantage of such a situation or not even appreciate what was being done for them. Even worse, there are those with a sense of entitlement, who feel that there is no reason their parents shouldn't haveto pay for everything...particularly school. So again, take heart at least that you've a sense of responsibility and compassion and you are not a piece of shit.
Second, while it is good that these kinda things are on your mind, focus on school and just take it a day at a time!
You'll find something to tread water and earn some scratch soon enough, I'm sure! Christmas is coming, you might could be able to find something seasonal in retail at least!

No problem. It has been a long time. My computer issues continue, but I asked my roommate if I could use his laptop....which is probably something I should have been doing for a while now, just to post work. I haven't missed computer really bc of my phone, but I DA is just too much of a pain in the ass to deal with on mobile Safari.
Work! Work is funny. I'll tell you all about it another time. Generically speaking, I do system support for a large corporation. I have been working on a LOT of stuff though, artwise.

Another PAX East has come and gone, as well as Boston Comic Con. I can finally get some goddamn SLEEP!! Both cons were great, but I only work PAX.
Shitty news regarding friends and family, glad you're staying busy though and meeting new people. I've started to work on a website with my roommates. We need to overhaul the website completely, but we put up a new video yesterday. I started networking with artists more and taking on more commission work as well. I also recently started doing live art shows. There was one tonight, but I had to bail bc it's shitty out and I am way too wiped to bother tonight hahahaha. I definitely have to attend the next event next Sunday. They're music events, mostly Hip-Hop, but tonight was gonna be soul/R&B/jazz or something, which I was pretty stoked for, but whatever.
