Description The Legend of Zelda has been a part of my life since I first played a Link to the Past in 3rd grade. 

There have been a lot of great games in the series since then, but you never forget the first time you wield the Master Sword. The sense of adventure and exploration, the epic scale of the story, the awesome items. A whole world stored in the that little grey snes cartridge. Looking over Link's shoulder as you guide him into the next dungeon, temple, haunted wood, volcanic cave, sunken labyrinth, creepy dried up well...  He's a great avatar, and through him I've been on many an epic adventure. 

I hope this piece resonates with that feeling for some of you out there!

I played it back in the Clinton years.

Oh my gosh, I canNOT.... put into words.... how real and true this feels. Agh, pardon my stuttering, it's just that this almost breaks my coherency. Oh my gosh. This is glorious.

This is why I hope they never build him a personality or give him his own dialogue.... he's the perfect blank vessel to enter, and just go on grand adventures with.

This was also the first Zelda game that I played, back when I was only 7. It's still one of my favourites today. Such a fantastic game, and this is a fantastic piece of work!
