Day 08 - Usagi Tsukino (Sailor Moon)

Sailor Moon was my very first anime and I have a huuuge weakspot for it. After learning of the anime reboot to come later this year, my love was reignited, and I ended up watching the entire anime series from start to finish, and finally watched Stars for the first time.

While initially I favored some of the other Sailor Senshi over Usagi back in the day, that began to change as I re-familiarized myself with the series. In the end, I gotta hand it to Sailor Moon, because she was a major hero to me growing up, and even now I still respect her so much. It's fun to watch her grow from reluctant crybaby to such a strong leader full of so much love, hope, and determination.

I ended up drawing Super Sailor Moon, since that's my favorite version!
