Nice work. It is so nice to find a traditional artist on DA because most of what I run into lately is digital art. I don't have anything against digital art because it is an art unto itself and can take talent and time to produce. My biggest problem with digital art is that so many people try to pass off their digital art as traditional art, and it can blur the lines between what is digital and what is true traditional art. I feel that DA will eventually be a digital art, but for the time being I just want you to know that it has been and is a pleasure to watch you continue to grow in you craft. Thanks for sharing your art. Sincerely, G.W.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I fully agree with you that infact DA is mostly a digital art site, and this is not a bad thing as i believe that digital art is a kind of art indeed , skills and talent are needed anyway but using digital means to create art, must do not be presented as a traditional one, this is really a "cheating" . Art means truth and soul expression, and fake works do not belong in a site that serves ar, either digital or traditional....Thanks again for your warm comment and for sharing your point of view on an important matter in art presentation.

Thank you my dear for your warm comment... in fact this subject of a woman looking at a seascape out of the window is a common one, there are at least 3 or 4 paintings I know and love... I ve been inspired especially from one of them but of course I changed so many things , lights and shadows, the pose, sea and sky, added the flowers, so my work couldn't be considered as a copy. Well in fact the main idea is common in many paintings, but each one of them has its own identity...I m so glad you liked it, thanks again !!!

very true, and each one provokes a specific emotion, peace, tranquility, beauty, simplicity. I love all of the emotions, all of the concepts, and even though the woman staring out the window is not a particular unique concept, its the work and feeling behind it, the colors, the lines, the gentle slope of the womans neck, or the wispyness of her hair, all different, again, very very welcome
