Description Angel of Death (False Hope)

Like the petals on a dying rose,
the memories are fading.
It withers as you speak them,
Killed by your words of hating.

Before your eyes, the world dies,
There's nothing you can do.
A light of hope, in the distance she cries,
Of course, you needn't ask who.

The ray of sun on this burned out world,
She brings indelible hope.
She beckons you with her sweet, sweet voice,
As she ties the knot in the rope.

"Come closer now, and you shall see,
The happiness I have prepared for thee.
Slip this rope around your neck."
A mighty temptress is she.

"Yes, that's good, do it right, now,
Pull it nice and tight.
I'll hold your hand as you jump off the edge."
Now become a creature of the night.

The end is near, you know this is true,
But have no fear, she'll come with you.
Into the dark tunnel you go,
The black having many a hue.

Then all of a sudden, her kind hand is gone,
You have nothing, nor no one left,
You have been fooled, like so many more.
How could you trust the Angel of Death?
