Description
A very large Protoceratopsid, this 15-foot, one ton herbivore is able to easily slice through branches with its powerful beak. Unlike other protoceratopsids, Protopentos' frill is solid and allows the animal to rush through the branches when fleeing danger. Its horns serve as an extra line of defense in the even it is attacked.Related content

I'm honestly a little surprised that this Deviation doesn't have more comments; I think it's one of your more inventive speculative dinosaur designs. I especially like how the horns have developed differently from those of ceratopsids, in that they're attached directly to the bone rather than emerging from beneath the scales.

thank you. i got the idea for those horns after looking at a few ceratopsian skulls at the American Museum of Natural History and the Peabody Museum.
