Love the title .

I'm dyslexic so please try to forgive  any spelling mistakes in this Critique

Even thought the snow is very bright white, the blue black stone steps is what i find very eye catching in this photo. Where do those steps go to? Or used to go to? What is this place? What happened to it?

Even though we can't see this person on the steps face , I get the feeling they are a bit of an explorer.

Is there a story to go with pitchers? It would make a great cover for a book jacket.

Is this person lost? Is it a boy or a girl? Is it even a child? Looking back at it now i see it could be a small person or just a normle sized reason from a distances.

Is this a painting? Water color ?

Everything is so bright and alive, it feels like I'm looking at a photograph instead of a drawing.

It dosnt look flat at all to me. The whole thing just jumps out of the page.

Thank you very much!!   I'm actually working on the image now, I putted more shadows in the picture to give it some more deep, but I'm glad to hear your opinion! Thank you so much!

To start off, this is amazing and eye catching! Your perspective and proportions are spot on, and the having the main subject in the middle makes it a well-balanced piece to look at. Your technique with the details on the trees, wood, snow, etc is so in depth. Your painting style is very well developed, one can tell.
My only criticism would be the painting seems a little flat? Needs a bit more depth (space wise), maybe by adding deeper hues to make the sun really stand out. Your atmosphere is good-it has a clean, winter-y feel-but adding deeper + darker hues in the shadows would make it feel more like a forest scene. This piece is beautiful overall, spectacular job.

I agree that the painting looks flat but depth of space wouldn't be the term i would use. Make dark tones in some areas and lighter tones in others to play the trick of depth, something that is already present but should be a little darker i suppose. You could manipulate the contrast of certain areas as well to draw a more focus on the boy. My Over all opinion... this piece looks darn  AMAZING!!!  way above my skill level, if you ever write a book be sure to send me a few of the pages ok
