Calytrix is of a certain fae that houses insects. She attracts arachnids and is able to control certain ones and see through their eyes. The inside of her chest is hollow and houses the bugs comfortably, she can close that hole if it makes people uncomfortable. The ridges on her body can be sharp, and her horns are sturdy and can be used for defense. Her Aloe hair is like long flat grass pads that are full feeling and thick.

This place has ties to the mafia and sometimes they send their crew in for “forced break” or a better coined phrase. “Be a good boy/girl and go get your mother some flowers”

Weakness:
Flammable: Being made of wood fire is a huge weakness against her.
Sunlight: Calytrix is very tree like but when it comes to sunlight too much can be too much. Too much sun can burn her hair and make her feel very ill.
Pride: Oh yes this will kill her one day for sure.

Abilities:
Green thumb: Calytrix is gifted in making seeds grow, she can manipulate the blooms to occur faster or slower.
Minor body shift: She is able to close up the holes in her skin if they bother a customer. She can smooth her ridges, and morph her feet/legs to be of a human shape.
Many eyes: Able to see through her little spider helper’s eyes. This only works with the four spiders she currently has on her application.
Helpful byproduct: Using her Aloe hair, she can use cuts of her hair to heal minor burns.
Regrowth: Since she is like a tree in many ways, if a limb is removed she will be able to grow it back slowly. If she loses an arm it can take a whole year to grow it back.
Minor bad luck: A small curse, bad luck for the next hour. Sometimes it’s not getting the right hand dealt in even a rigged game, or stubbing your toe. It’s mostly harmless
Seasonal change: During certain times of the year her appearance and demeanor will change drastically. This can be a boon and a downfall at the same time. During winter all her foliage and aloe hair falls out and she becomes irritable and her memory is short. During the summer she is full of life and is often more careless than normal.

Positive:
Determined- Calytrix simply doesn’t take no for an answer sometimes and some would view this as a downfall but her stubbornness and determination will often grant her the results she wants.
Motherly- She already had two children in a school far far away, but that doesn’t stop her from petting your hair and asking sweetly if you want seconds.
Thinking outside the box- Calytris has a knack for getting creative for little problems here and there. She loves it thoroughly when a plan comes together. She will often indulge in praise if given.
Passionate- She gives her lovers everything~

Negative:
Prideful- More often times than not she feels entitled to the best treatment. This can make her quite infuriating to be around when shopping for deals or in public situations.
Quick to Judge- Caly can jump to conclusions very quickly and upset herself before the whole situation has been explained fully, it can lead to her attacking verbally and sometimes physically later on.
Untrusting- With the types of businesses she usually conducts, it’s easy for her to not trust just anyone who comes into her shop. Very often she is watchful and aware of what they do. She may even place a spider on them to watch their every move.
Insatiable- Caly has quiet and appetite for everything worldly and luscious and sometimes what she has just isn’t enough and it can lead to her being irritable and wanting.

Calytrix is a lovely person to your face and will do everything she can to put you into her pocket. She will offer strange prizes for helping her and if you please her, in turn you yourself could have a influential contact.
She’s very flirty and loves to play with everyone that will let her. If you tell her to back off, she will respectfully, however will promise that one day you’ll beg for that favor again.

History:
Calytrix has attempted to lead a life of luxury her whole life. Being a simple forest fae she did her very best to be presentable to to find a way into the fairy court. However being pleasant can only take you so far. She was removed from the royal court for being too pushy, or “trying too hard” and had annoyed the queen.

Calytrix rarely took no for an answer and just knew that if she talked with another royal and explained her worth she would be able to mingle with the royals and maybe secure herself a position of power.

What she received instead enriched her life in a different manner.

Calytrix had never been a very stealthy type of person and was found caught several times attempting to get into the royal court...by the same person...every time. After a while this started to be almost a game between her and this royal guard, and he started to look forward to it. A long love story short, they soon fell in love and had a little wedding and soon after a girl named Rhoslyn.

A war broke out in the land and her husband was sent to defend their land. She sent him off with a kiss and a flower from her hair, he has yet to return. She did all that she could to wait but it was a few years when she waited on the shore for him to return. A fisher consoled her and soon they too grew close together. They fell in love and not without its casualties. Rhoslyn left out on her own before their newest daughter was born, Nulune.

It wasn’t long till the family reconnected and the girls went off to school. The royal guard never returned and the fisher went back to the seas.

To occupy herself she went into the city of hades hollow, she started a business and used her wits to make her own court of flowers.
