One Punch Man is this RIDICULOUS new-ish anime about a guy who can defeat anything/anyone with one punch, but he's growing bored of his vigilante hero hobby as he searches for a true adversary. You should check it out.

In all seriousness though, this illustration just hits it's mark in almost every way. The background colors and the frame match the suit and "The Holy Word of Saitama" perfectly, and the hatching on the shadows still preserve the manga feel of it. I even love how Saitama's cape flows in a perfectly vertical fashion like Jesus' robes.
There's honestly not a whole lot I can criticize, but I do have a couple of gripes to spill. And really only one of them is just more of an opinion.
I love how you did this illustration, and the sheer impact of the hilarity practically sells itself. But it's not entirely original. I've seen this painting of Jesus being photoshopped with a raptor head or something else too many times for me to count in 2006, so the joke was run into the ground for me personally back then. But originality hardly defines quality, especially in this masterpiece.
I see what you were trying to do with the texture, and it still adds a neat little detail to what you're referencing. But I feel like a brush made to look like the strokes of one from the fourteen-hundreds on a separate layer would look a little better. On the other hand though, I don't know if that would just get in the way of balance and subtlety. Just a thought.
Other than what I just listed, this piece is just flawless. The idea was portrayed with perfect accuracy, and you deserve a medal for this. Saitama isn't going to die off anytime soon, especially not on a cross. Not that that would be physically possible anyway, given the fact that he's a cartoon character. I-I-I mean an INVINCIBLE cartoon character.

Thats how amazing it is.
Although, i think the sky may need a bit more variety in colors other than orange and the sun.. maybe some red mixed in with it, and some clouds, but its still AMAZING!

Your colors you used actually makes it look like the real thing, from the anime "One Punch Man" and you even used the anime shading technique!
