+Adventurous: Since her young days of living out in the savannah, Malaika never lost her thrill for adventure and wouldn't hesitate or take a no for an answer on going on an adventure. It doesn't matter what kind it is. Could be a short walk. Or a long hike. It still sounds like a lot of fun as far as she is concerned.
+Playful: Malaika has a playful streak making her often well minded and easily able to handle cubs even at her young age. Malaika has always thought that her second job might've been a cub sitter. As she was often found watching her sister from her same litter when her mother was hunting.
+Honest: Malaika is the honest type. She is very bad at lying and often can't lie in front of others. That being said she hardly has a bad bone in her body.
+Loyal: The lioness has a loyal side as she is loyal towards family and friends. However, if you cross her, that will likely be the end. She hardly ever gives back second chances unless there is a good reason for it.

-Stubborn: Malaika is stubborn she knows she will not budge from an idea or thought. It will take her awhile to change or think it over sometimes. As she will have to consider every last thought.
-Meticulous: Malaika is meticulous, she pays attention to every last detail and wants to make sure that everything is in order. The same could be said about her den, as she didn't like a dirty or messy home. It is often the start of becoming sick or looking bad at the pride.
-Clever: Malaika is known to be clever, she can come up with rather cunning or interesting plans that will surprise or stun others before. She hasn't had too much but sometimes she has pranked her sister with it.
-Shy: The lioness has been known to be shy and often times, has been hard to speak up or even mention her mind if it is something serious. She will mention it towards others. She will take some time in order to know others, as she requires a bond to form in front of friends.

History:
Malaika was born to Shomari and Ayanna, who lived in the savannah. For some time, the pride thrived. They had signs of hope that they would be able to prosper on the hot lands. One day, while Malaika and her sister Zalika were playing with their mother's watchful eyes, a sandstorm began to sweep through the area. Her mother grabbed the two cubs and headed for shelter. The storm lasted for two days, and there was no sign of their father. That was when Ayanna began to worry something happened to her father. On the third day, when the weather finally calmed, Ayanna began to set out, to find her mate.

That was when she found an awful discovery. it appeared that her father was killed suddenly by a tumble down the cliff side. Blinded by the sand and dust, he had no clue where he was going. After burying Shomari, Ayanna quickly realized that this savannah was not the place to raise two cubs. There were dangers everywhere. After permitting by the pride, Malaika, her sister, and her mother left to find pride that would be full of life.

They traveled across a desert. The three lionesses were weak and close to exhaustion, and that was Ayanna was ready to give up. The desert life had been a harsh one. While they were out, Ayanna made sure to teach her cubs about trying to learn and understand how to survive in the desert. Look for roots to drink from them, and find places to dig to find water. The lionesses were about ready to give up from the heat and exhaustion. The lionesses found enormous mountains and a pride living in them. It didn't take long before they found pride. Ayanna asked to live in pride. Soon, The three lionesses were accepted into the pride, by the leaders, and they were grateful for it. They would live by the rules and try their best to fit in. Ayanna knew this would be a big adjustment to living in a new place. But she had faith in her daughters.

Malaika, by now, had been a teenager, as she was growing into a fine young lioness. Soon, she would be able to grow up and find her way in life. Eventually, Malaika found an interest in plants and herbs, as she wanted to help heal others and heal their wounds. She wanted to become a healer for her pride as it made sense to her. While her sister wanted to be a scout. The lioness knew that this was the path the way to go. She, however, never forgot about her father and the mysterious death around him. But she knew he is watching her all the time. And she continues to pursue the life of a healer.
