My laptop is out being fixed again, so I found an old sketch on my computer here and thought it fit perfectly for Qarisa (Q's mother)

This is Qarisa in here Spirit/Ghost/horse form, looking over her son from the stars trying to guide him back in the right direction...

and yes shes is the mother of Q, as in John De Lancie's Q...ya that one

Heres a One shot about her here:

A white mare, snow white, galloped across the night sky above the sands. Q's horse eye widened as he chased her on foot, picking up the dust as he flew.

"Wait! Wait!" he shouted to her. The white mare looked down at him but continued on running until she got to a cliff. Q slid to a stop, gathering back up his hooves under him. He hadn't taken this from in quite sometime. He panted, although not sure why; his arab nostrils flaring as he stared up at he mare.

"You've forgotten..." the mares soft voice spoke through to him in spirit.
"How could I forget you, mother." Q cried.
"No, you have....look at the things you've done...the life you've taken, the paths you've strolled down. I never taught you this way..."

Q lowered his head...he had changed. He was a different Q when she was still around but when she was executed, he was never the same and it took over him.

"But even though you have forgotten, you have found yourself back onto the right track..."
"What?"
"Look down below; what do you see?"
Q stared down into the valley, seeing the human girl whose life he had ruined.
"I..I don't understand..." he said for the first time in a long time.

"As you have reset the stars for you, and submitted into darkness, she is now in that same place...but it was meant to be this way. Only a child can understand a child..."

"I am not--!"

The mares eyes fell soft on her son. "No, but you are still my child, but that child is trapped...but now perhaps you can both set yourselves free...and finally flee from the darkness."

And with that, the mare vanished into the stars, leaving a gentle warm breeze, blowing through Q's mane and tail. He lowered his head and sighed, his ear flicking behind him to the sound of the girl sobbing. Turning his eyes finally opened.

"I must set the stars back in place again...before we both are trapped in the darkness forever..."
