Description Kita found an echidna!
Yes she's an Aussie fox (well... and introduced red fox)... thus she would technically be considered a pest. Luckily I shall protect her.

Um, If I got it right, Kita is a red fox with more yellowish and brighter orange colors? I'm trying to reference from EVERRY picture of her you have !

You got the colours perfectly right... in fact you've got her new colours. She used to only have yellow on the parts closest to the orange fur and the rest was white, but I recently changed that to all yellow.

That's good, I have only a lemon yellow left so that would be.... interesting

Supposedly with hedgehogs, foxes will drool on them until they have to uncurl themselves for air, allowing the fox to get at its soft underbelly. Dunno whether or not echidnas are the same way

*hugz Kita... she is not a pest!!*

My experience with echindas is that when you approach them they (surprisingly quickly) dig a hole beneath them or move into dense scrub. The purpose of the hole is that they can breath cause they have their little snouts, and that only their spikes are exposed. And with the scrub the same thing happens unless they can actually move all the way in so that you pretty much immediately lose site of them. They're awesome.

Not unless you rolled it over first anyway... buuut... no, don't eat echidnas... that would be bad.

There are not many ways it could turn out well for a human being, in any case. Enchiladas on the other hand...
