My college mascot is an anteater. "Zot!"

I did the line art originally with pencil and a black marker for a possible t-shirt design. It's caveman themed so hence the outfit. The rock is an inside joke sort of thing. But then I decided I liked it and I should learn how to use photoshop (at least besides using the default brushes). I played around with some different things and came up with this. I'm rather pleased, but I still have no idea how people do some of the amazing work I've seen here with photoshop. I'd probably have an easier time with a tablet or something, it's hard to keep lines smooth with a mouse...

In the end this is a tribute to Johnny Hart, creator and author of B.C. (the comic). He died on April 7th. His anteater in the strip was the original inspiration for our mascot and our 'war cry.'

Good bye Johnny Hart, your memory will live on forever at UCI. Zot!
