Pic born of a sudden urge to draw Kaname in a stripped pajama and Takuma in a pajama with teddy bear patterns. XD *has odd Muses like that* *lol*

The two are still little and are having a sleepover/pajama party, during which Takuma has agreed to give Kaname (for the length of his stay) his kitty stuffed toy that Kaname took a liking to, so the pureblood is all happy. XD
(Maybe Kaname was raised as a "proper pureblood heir" with too much seriousness and no plushie kitties, hence the sudden interest in them as he discovers them... XD *lol*
I imagine that the house lightened up more with Yuuki, but before it was maybe more 'serious'. XD; Well, maybe not quite that, but she was always far more spoiled than Kaname. XD *lol*)
I wanted to portray that idea also in their clothes: Kaname's pajama is much more mature and less cheerful, while Takuma's one is more childish/full of bears etc. XD *lol*

When it comes time to take the photo, Takuma is a outgoing and poses for the camera, but Kaname is lost in his own world, distracted by daydreaming about how fun it would be if Yuuki were there too... (but she can't go of course, since she must be kept safe and secret). So Takuma is all smiles for the camera and Kaname is all staring off into space with a happy look. XD *lol*

Or maybe Kaname is just distracted thinking of chess manoeuvers he will use to completely pwn Takuma later when they play. XD XD *lol*

It was also drawn because I wanted to draw a pic with the idea of it being Kaname's first sleepover ever, since he doesn't has many friends, and is getting closer to Takuma. X3 So it's all new for him, but he's having lots of fun playing chess with his friend and staying up late, err, early. XD
(They plan to see if they can secretly stay awake until dawn without the adults noticing. Both will probably pass out asleep way before that. XD)

The pic settings described above are made up of course. The manga never mentioned whether Kaname had plushies as a child or not, but it's true that he was always so much more serious and Yuuki was always apparently the more spoiled one. (The fanbook even mentions the mother liked to play all sorts of board games etc. with Yuuki and play the piano with her/for her and all, but instead of doing the same things for Kaname, it says she liked to toy with him. XD; *lol*)

I just wanted to draw a cute sleepover scene with Kaname & Takuma, set before Kaname was orphaned.
(Even if in this he looks over 8 and so it clashes a bit since that's the age he was when he became an orphan...
But thanks to pureblood physiology, he looks older than 8 when he lost his parents anyway (maybe 11-ish?), so maybe the pic still works. XD *lol*)
