My finished Midna model made with Autodesk Maya 2009.Time she took: er...well, I started around September 20th working on and off. I know for sure I put 24 hours worth this past week. Probably more if you add in 3 hours of class.
All textures made and drawn by me in photoshop with mouse and tablet.
Model was made from a polygonal cube that was extruded. Helmet was made from cylinder cuts. The hair is two cylinders as is the hair bracelet. Eye consists of two spheres for the eyeball and eyelid.
Midna belongs to Nintendo
Edit: I got 22/20 on this project and it is to be displayed in my class gallery for future students to look at. ^^ Funny thing is, two years before me someone had made a Twilight Princess Link model for the gallery. heh.

Yup. This is my Midna model. Still room for improvement, but since she was the first 'true' model I made I am content. Got full points plus bonus ^^ She's now forever in the class gallery too. Oddly enough, the class gallery has Twilight Princess Link made by someone two years ago :'D

I love how you actually went into detail with the designs on the headpiece along with the arm "tattoo" designs.

Well, part of the project was texturing so I had to design the headpiece and arm tattoos. I'm glad you like them though. Hopefully that means an 'A' in the texturing department~
