I really shouldn’t have gone for that title. I really shouldn’t have. XD

The fifth assignment in my still life drawing course was to draw a room with a chair in it. I chose to draw a slightly simplified version of this chair in the parlor that we’ve had for I don’t know how long even. My sister gave me pointers on how to create convincing-looking perspective with the floorboards, as well as how to shade. Her assistance really paid off, and the next drawings should look even better. I had to really play around with the brightness-contrast levels on this to make the drawing discernable though. As usual, it was done entirely in graphite pencil.
