This piece is, in my opinion, more abrupt and graphic in design than some of my other pieces...this piece seriously pops. Coupled with the soft pose and expression of calm, there is a duality to her through the energy and colors that make up her form and space to the nearly meditative expression on her abstracted face....
"Scarlett" popped into my head, as the word has had many connotations throughout history. I feel this piece carries with it that plurality
