Shion is shy and quiet especially when meeting him for the first time. He usually stutters no matter what the situation, making it difficult for people to understand him at times.He likes loud people and will usually start a conversation or engage with the other person if it was awkwardly silent between them. Shion addresses people with Sir after it up from a guide to Chilvary book.

Shion is generally timid and would rarely regard himself as someone important if being compared to others, and like his brother, when he is being compared to his brother. Shion always has some sort of guilt whenever his brother mentions Shion is the one who is the most liked between the two ,he cares about him more than anything else.

Back then, Shion was still the same as he was presently. Nothing really changed that can be noticed right away, he was a bit more carefree because he went to school with his brother who was/ appeared to be much more trusting and kinder back then. He often walks with his brother to and from their school. Often because his brother has afterschool activities, he walks home by himself. Shion didn't really mind this and was happy that his brother worked very hard at school. There were times where he wish he could trade places with his brother, and that he could be as strong and almost perfect like his brother. Things changed when something bad happened.

On one particular day, Yuzuki was still busy with preparing a school activity for the week, he simply asked Shion to go home ahead without him. This of course didn't bother Shion much and he agreed to it. After some walking, balancing on rails and skipping/running along, Shion felt a strong pang of worry but he didn't know why. He shook it off and this would probably something he would regret later on. His twin brother's voice rang through his head to hurry on home quickly or go back. He Still shook it off and continued with whatever he was doing, rushing back to his house as he really felt sick to the stomach. That is, until a few boys from school interrupted Shion's walk back. They looked angry and peeved at him, he didn't understand why but after getting an answer from the main leader of the small group of boys he grows pale. The boys had merely came to beat him up for getting more attention than they did at the classroom, with the teacher, and friends. He couldn't believe what he had just heard from the boy's mouth and is pushed off the railing by the boy. After the leader, Fuki, had pushed Shion off and grabbed him by his collar, he continued shouting and punching him. After punching him to the point he was satisfied, he let Shion fall on the floor, proceeding to kick him with the other boys.

There were three bullies and one of them was practically beating Shion on the ground to a pulp... Shion curled up into a ball and waited for the attacking to stop... He looked up and notices a familiar presence. All was a haze at this point, his tears were falling from his eyes and soon enough the kicking stopped. When he opened his eyes to see what was going on he could barely make out blurs that seemed to be his brother and Fuki fumbling on the floor fighting eachother. His eyes widen when, In retaliation, the bully took out a cutter and slashed at his brother's face. A cut that ran through the left side of his forehead down his chin. He was shocked because it was the only time where he saw his brother get hurt so badly, felt so much pain, had so much blood spilling. It was incomparable to knee scrapes they got when they was younger. He watched in fear as his brother he took out a Swiss knife and started cutting through the skin of the bully, wanting to also destroy his face beyond recognition. Shion watched his brother, frightened, As he saw the blood coming out as his brother slowly continued to dig in the knife against Fuki's cheek, he shivered in fear. His brother was actually enjoying this, Shion didn't know where his brother had gotten the Swiss knife and tried to get on his feet or at least MOVE to stop his brother. He couldn't though, He was paralyzed on the floor like a scared, weak, wild animal.

Luckily before things became worse than it already was, someone stepped in and stopped Yuzuki. It was Stratos, an upperclassman from the same school who also acts as an older sister to the twins. Shion's breathing continued to be rigid and he passed out from the pain and fear, somewhat relieved to hear the voice that had frightened him before. Her cries and words made Yuzuki snap out of the euphoric state he was in. By then, the asshole bully had ran far far away already. Together with Stratos, they went to the closest hospital. As they walked, Shion felt as if he were being carried by someone really warm, as he slowly opened his eyes, he is met by Stratos' worried face. The first thing he asked for was his brother, eagerly wanting to know where he was and what happened to him, if he was alright. Despite the pain of being beat by the other kids, he still thought of his brother more and regretted how he was too weak to defend himself... too weak to help his brother, such a coward. He knew he would have to live with the guilt of being the reason his brother got hurt.

After they got to the hospital and Shion was taken care of he snuck out of the room he had been assigned and ran to Yuzuki's side. And each night Shion would do the same until they were let out.

Ever since, Yuzuki quit being a student council member so he could watch over him Shion felt a pang of guilt, knowing his brother gave up everything for him. He was never aware of what his brother was doing behind his back, beating up the bullies of shion even though he told him not to and suspected his brother was doing something when his teachers would call them in to question.

Afterwards, Yuzuki got a tattoo to cover up the scar thinking it would help Shion move over the guilt. This however, made him more guilty, as it was a permanent reminder as to why he got the tattoo in the first place.

Shion wanted to join the military org. after he found out that Stratos and Yuzuki were contemplating joining and leaving him there alone. Feeling useless again he decided to join as well, hoping to be able to protect Yuzuki and Stratos instead of being the one that was protected all the time.

Because of Shion's outer appearance people tended to keep away from him, thinking that he is a delinquent because of his injuries. Ever since Shion was young, he had been prone to getting hurt easily, most often by animals rather than his own clumsiness. And even though animals may hurt him, it doesn't stop him from loving them and wanting to get along with them. He often puts himself in the way of others as to protect them, and when questioned about his actions, he remains silent.

He aspires to become a bishop so that he can protect animals and people in hopes of making friends. Despite his want to make friends his nervousy of not getting accepted makes him prone to stuttering while talking. He has the most trouble talking to women because they seem to be very fearful people to him. (all the females he has met have been overbearing, headstrong, brass, and cold.)

* Shion is not very good with people caring for him.

Turtle-Kun: A snapping turtle. Shion's pet. Goes by many names from 'Turtle-kun', 'Mr. Turtle', and 'Snappy'. "T-turtle-kun s-still needs to get used to me, but I'm sure we'll be great friends once he does!"

Chibi-Kame: A smaller turtle. Shion's second pet. Usually hides in his shirt.

Alice: First friend on the island. "L-lady Alice is a - a -a A very pretty person! /// I am honored to be able to become friends with her! She is very kind to offer feeding Turtle-kun, and even offered to help treat my injuries!;; I-I declined it though;;;. She seems nicer than most females I have seen, though I have to feel uneasy when she pulls out that notebook of hers;;. What if it's a Deathnote?! "

Aria: Acquaintance. "A-a-a-a-aria is a very scary person! ;;; She reminds me of Snappy; and seems to be very agressive. Her eyes tell me that she is one to prefer being left alone. I wonder if that's how my eyes used to look like before... I hope I can get along with Aria as well!"
