THANK YOU SOO MUCH
I'm happy to hear I got the foreshortening right this time xDD
Ooh I see andthatistotallynotbecauseofthebluehairxDD, I like her here too even though I don't draw the character often.
Her initial name was Chelsea Ikarus but I didn't really liked it so I want to change her first name. I'm pretty clueless what to name her atm.
Same goes for the elf.
But ya I would be very excited to see you chara-dump too.
[that plz though, I never really understood whether the man is genuinely clapping or is being sarcastic and condescending. Misteries of the internetXDDD]

Well you should know that I am currently facing the same issues with coloring. It's a terrible life to be living v_v
And personally for water-color pencils I use them like a normal pencil then take a water-color paint brush, dampen it, and then 'paint' where I colored. I do that or dip the tips in water, kinda color with them and use the same painting-brush idea. But that' just me and how I've experimented/ concluded to doing.
And don't worry too much about your art! Of course you are going to think it stinks buns but it doesn't! (wow so encouraging <_<)

Yea ikr. That is what urges me to go digital even though I can never get used to either the tablet or SAI
What a coincidence. I used them just like that too xD
Ahaha I guess It's kind of a mentality I have over my art. Probably will be stuck to it for a while lol

Digital I am actually having the most trouble with coloring o_O. But that's only because I don't understand computer programming and such <_<
Well it seems like it works then XD. Honestly when it comes to art supplies sometimes there is no 'proper' way to use them. except for oil-paints. I hear they are a pain.
And my friend has the same kind of mentality v_v. Just try to remember that you don't suck and I think you'll be fine XD.

Ah I see what you mean. Although I bet alot of the "pros" will disagree with that statement xD

Which one? Coloring or oil painting or supplies? XD I need to begin making shorter comments or work on summarizing my thoughts <_<

That there's no proper ways to use art supplies. I'm not sure myself honestly.
And I don't mind long comments. It's nice to read and to receive xD

Oh. Well there TECHNICALLY is but I don't believe to abide by them. Honestly as long as it gets good results to where the user is happy by it, then what's the problem?
And thank you v_v. Quite reassuring to hear XD

these are great drawings! the line work is fantastic. Do you only use water soluble pencils and if not what brand do you usually use?

Thanks alot for the comment. Yes, I used watersoluble pencils of the brand Caran d'ache. Before this, I used (once) the brand Bruynzeel but it felt inferior to me.
