Surprise! Surprise! I actually drew a Disney fanart!
I was asked by to give a try at drawing Disney's Aladdin and I made a nice effort there.
I can take a pride saying that I make this first attempt without any prior practice (how do I prove this?). But even so, please pardon me for any mistakes/goofs I may have made (scale, details, whatever)
I took on the classic humor scene of Genie playing the chess game with the magical rug.
Aladdin was one of my old Disney favorites so it's nice to give this fanart a try. Genie make that left-handed "one moment" gesture. I included a doll of my original character, Energeia in there so to make it harder for anyone to "steal" that picture.

Though not a big Aladdin fan, I absolutly have Genie as my fav anyday
Apart from being voiced by Robin Williams (One of my fav comdeians). The way he acts and wise cracks always make me laugh (Even that face plant on thin air is a win) plus sometimes throwing random parodies from after disney movies is so good (like saying a line, acting it or appearing as a character)

I just watched "Tangled" at my aunts place in Kansas City. It's cute but those singing scenes are so silly and mostly annoying.

I don't know, for me, 3D is becoming all about what's "popular", and it really stripes away the hard work and emotion of traditional hand drawn. I actually like 2D cartoons, and how amusing and just traditional they are. Just because it's 3D doesn't make it "better", just more expensive. A 3, 4, or 5 year old today will have just a good time laughing at a hand drawn cartoon, even from the 40's and 50's, as much as 3D animations from today, maybe even more. I've seen it.
