2/11/09 I've finally uploaded another pic! It's been a while!
This is for Puck (c) Greg Weisman (sp?) and Shakespeare (duh)
Serenity (c) Me! ^^
Here's Serenity's history: she used to be human, but she was always very sickly and weak. Then, one day, she gets hit by a car and loses a lot of blood. She's taken to the hospital, but they find out that she has an extremely rare blood type, and the only other person with her blood type is Owen, so he donates some blood to save her.
Because she was always so sickly, Owen's blood begins to take control over her own blood and it converts her from human to a full-fledged fey (it was VERY painful...). So now, Puck (who's Owen's alter-ego for those of you who haven't seen Gargoyles) takes it upon himself to train her along with Alexander.
...it looks like Puck's flirting with her...I meant to make it look like he was whispering a spell to her!

I think that if you post your gargoyle story on fanfiction.net you should be ok, unlike some of the more mainstream fandoms which can get really intense, the gargoyles is a (sadly) smaller fandom, with much more tolerant and accepting people. Also, there are SO few puck stories there, if you were to post it, I think people would be really greatful to find a new Puck fanfic to sink their teeth into, I know I would! I really like your story idea, it is very creative! I only have one suggestion, instead of converting her to a 100% Fay, she should just inherit SOME powers, basicly becoming a halfling. She would still need to be tutored, Alex after all is only a quarter fay, and it would be more realistic. I mean, even though it is a great plot device for a fanfiction, the reality is in the real cannon gargoyles world that could nevery happen, because while Puck is Owen he IS essnsially human, with the ability to turn into his original form being his only magic ability. So really, he would have all human blood. However, for your fanfiction, you could argue that he retains just enough magic in his blood from being able to revert into his true self, to affect her. That way it makes more sense. So she would probably not be affected by iron, and maybe her ears would change, but maybe they would be more like lord of the ring elf ears than puck ears.
What is her profession? How old is she? How will she move to the castle? She could be a nanny for alex, or a cleaning lady maybe, or both...
Do you know what her illness is? I sounds like a heart disease, you should probably look it up. The key to a good fanfiction is reasearch, planning, thinking about how your character would fit into the world around her, you can't just make up rules, you can only bend them.
You have to think about how the Gargoyle world works, and how each character would react to things and sitiations realistacly. How will you get around Puck's punishment of no powers except for training and protecting alex for example? Are you planing to find away for Oberon to lift it in your story? Or maybe you can say he is only banished from avalon, but still has his powers, (bending not breaking the rules). Just some things to think about. Also, about the blood, I can't remember what its called, but there is a rarest blood type, and even though it is rare, all hospitals should still have a supply of it. You should come up with a situation where the blood they have is either contaminated, ruined, used up, or some other reason why they don't have any. Also, what will owen be doing at the hospital? Also, if she is hit by a car, the whole heart deseaise thing might just be unnessicary, as the trama would already make her plenty weak. Just a thought.
Wow,I wrote alot.. sorry, I was just really excited to see this because I have been CRAVING a new Puck story with originality, and I really like your idea! It is also a great picture by the way. I hope you do decide to write this, and stick with it, I'm sure if you put effort into it, it will be great!

Meh, I was just playing around. Me and my sister do stupid stuff all the time.
Especially when we're playing our Pokemon games; like, for example, at Blue's house in Pallet Town, I talked to Daisy (Blue's older sister) and she said "My kid brother, Blue, is the Gym Leader in Viridian City. But he goes out of town so often, it causes problems for the other trainers."
And my sister was throwing out a bunch of stuff of my my main character could be thinking (the main characters never speak in the Pokemon games; except to CopyCat in GSC; in case you didn't know).
Then, I got an idea. I told her that Chris (the name of my main character) was responding to Daisy's statement and she was saying, "You're tellin' me! I had to go clear to Cinnabar Island to find him!" (In Pokemon GSC, you have to go to Cinnabar Island to find Blue so you can battle him and earn the 16th badge.) My sister thought that was funny and she wanted me to actually draw the scene on my computer, so I've been working on that today and yesterday.

Mine does too. We've been getting along a lot better lately, but that's because my mom has been getting very emotional lately (meaning that she's been yelling at us a lot), so we had to team up to make some kind of peace here.
