I usually just look at the reply and use my context clues ek
One time there was a hidden comment and the creator replied with "No you're nightmare fuel!" Like a "Uno reverse card!" Kinds way. So I realized the hidden comment said "This is nightmare fuel"
And I mean the commenter wasn't wrong, it was a Animdude x The Meatly thing and if that doesn't keep you up at night then I don't know what will-

YES!! Also, YouTube used to have a layout where someone replied and you can click to see why they replied, and a lot of the times I would get a "This comment no longer exists."

like theyre talking in the comments but they both hid all of them?
like did they both agree to hide them or did it just happen?
and if they wanted to talk without anyone seeing what they said why not note eachother?
