Well I recently i have been inspired by a wonderful artist Rion Vernon. [link] A pin up artist. I was amazed at his work and decided to try my luck at a pin up girl. When I drew the picture I ran out of paper and couldn't finish her feet But I feel the picture still came out wonderfully. This is so far my fav colored and drawn picture I have done. Everything in it just seems to fit in my opinion. Funny story I drew the girl naked first and my roomates were giving me alot of crap.. I told them I wanted the body proportions to be perfect. But it was funny to see their looks of awe and amazement because I don't ussually draw nudes.The background came from a wonderful photographer and painter. Yeah i do believe it was my first ever panty shot. Nothing crazy about them though just normal underware. Glad you liked the pic it's one of my favs. To tell you the truth when I originally drew it. I was working on the way the female body looks and had drawn he naked so having clothes I think is a step up from just underware and or being naked.

The Likes-
The shading on the face is really something. I can't draw noseless figures and use the shading to define the nose-- I just suck too bad at lightsourcing to be able to do that. Her proportions are wonderfully done, somehow they look 'right' even though they differ notably from the traditional Anime proportions. (Eg., thigh as wide as head, shoulders two heads wide, etc) I love the shading on the hair, it really gives off that pretty pantene sheen we're all looking for. The movement of the skirt is dynamic and accurate, another thing that I can't manage to pull off properly. That painted-style thing is working nicely for you, keep it up and you might just become a full-fledged digital painter. (Currently, your style appears to be hanging in the balance between cel-shading and pure soft-shading. Eh.) The tatoo is a nice touch, as is the gun. The colour pallette is appealing and the pose is very cute. Good job. ^_^
The Quirks-
One. The thighs are a little short in my opinion. It's a standard rule that the fingertips should reach halfway down the thighs, but this is a rule that I often forget myself. ^_^" It's not even a big deal, I'm just being nitpicky. Another job well done, mi amigo.

The noseless shading was a first for me but I was pleased with how it turned out i may experiment with it more later. About the proportions I try and draw girl that have organs. I like girls that actually look like they could exsist. but I still slip and draw some weirdly proportioned. Oh yes the hair I was so proud of what i pulled off there. Thanks for noticing warms my heart. And a digital painter never thought I'd see the day. before I got a decent art program I always thought people who colored things with computers were cheating... Man I could never go back. "hugs computer" I love this way so much more. And I have a friend with that same tattoo so thats where i got the idea. that's probob ly because u didn't use a color treating shampoo and conditioner. heck, there's even shapoos that add more read to your hair so it doesn't fade. holy shit, i sound like a hair dresser. O.O

No it was the first time I had ever died my hair back like lets see 8 yrs ago and I didn't bleach my dark brown hair before I used the red. SO the color was perfect but it didn't stay.

I wish I understood it better. THe skirt was spoced to me the same as a a folder plaid but I couldn't get it right so I settled with the normal flow. THanks for the love ^_^ and comments.
