I love how the colours, though all stereotypically dull ones, are so vibrant. Also, the lighting makes an amazing atmosphere.

I love the way the dark edges of the shot really draw our attention directly to the subject in the centre of the frame. The overall feeling I get from this particular image from the series very much reminds me of old silent films. It has a kind of fairy tale quality about it also. Once again, I love the soft, muted colours and the crisp details.
