I'm not able to do something out Yomi, YYH or DB universe today. My works out of this circle is likely to be crap. I've tried to draw Kurama without reference, the result was creepy.

i would recommend getting as many official references, not any fan art, also if you try to get screenshots from dragon ball be warned that the animation style changes per episode so you need a good eye to tell it apart

I actually use references from print screens or models. They work well for me.
