I did it! I finished the 14 day challenge in an effort to improve my portraiture. Thanks to the feedback and critiques of those on Istebrak's community page, I was able to discover mistakes I've been making for years. Only took 1 month! I was definitely procrastinating towards the end, even became a little bitter that I cannot move on with my life until this task is done (personal habit). On a separate note - So tired of grayscale, can't wait to go back to color again!Related content

Thank you! You can join too! There's a good amount of people doing traditional - regular ol' HB pencil or charcoals. As long as it's grayscale, you're good to go.

I still don´t fully understand the rules. I´ve been trying to find them. I understand it has to be a face without hair, universal human starting from scratch every day.
Any other rules?

Additional rules that are not on that page are:
(1) Do not reference entirely from one picture. You can use reference for like the eyes, the nose, or the mouth.
(2) Use butterfly lighting.
(3) The community will let you know if you are breaking any other unspoken rules.
