Another piece I conceptualized before Gaara's grand reveal as Kazekage was made in the manga. I opted to turn them into ANBU for the sake of fun and revelry. Plust it got me the chance to put Gaara in more fishnet.He looks hot in fishnet.
No, Naruto isn't attacking Gaara. And I started out giving our beloved redhead a weapon then changed my mind, leaving him with a rather awkward hand there. Bleh.
I also realize that the Sand ANBU would have a totally different design of the ANBU vest than Leaf. I had already inked this by the time I thought of that little detail.
I know I need to add Gaara's tattoo. It'll be done later when I get back from my cosplay photoshoot in Austin next week. I think you can forgive me for that, can't you?

But I've never -seen- a Sand ANBU uniform.
Actually, I'm organizing a huge ANBU cosplay group for a convention next year and our sole Sand ANBU is wearing the same uniform as the rest of us Leaf ANBU. The only difference is that she's creating a unique tattoo to signify her alliegance.

There is no such thing as too much fishnet on Gaara. The more of him I see in it, the more I am convinced of this sacred truth. Though I am vastly amused by the fact that Naruto's pants appear to be falling off. =B
Kudos on the composition in this one, and managing a nice dynamic pose of Naru--it looks like it might have been a little awkward to draw. I would have found it awkward. o_o No worries about the anbu vest, as it just pulls the two figures together better. Anyway, I think it does. Maybe I'm crazy. Vwah. Good stuff.

muaha! i live! and i've come to shower your pic with comments ans stupid phrases!! MUAHAHAHA!! [*ahem*] Anyways, to start off t gotta say that yes, gaara does look hot in fishnet. though the more stringy and torn kind looks very good on him [merherhaha] now.. ah! the sash fer gaara is cool and naruto's red bandagy arm thingies are cool too [tho not a cool as the sash XP] but one small [or in this case big] problem with naruto's pants.. they're kinda bulgy around 'him' . is it supposed to look that way? like his zipper is to long for them? of is he simply turned on by gaara posing? anyways, blah blah blah pouty gaara belly blah blah looks like boobies blah blah so very cool blah blah. you get the idea, ne? btw, the background was a very nice touch. not drawing to much attention to the characters and the same affect for away from them. over all awsome [as usual]
