This is a picture I drew for an awesomely great friend of mine. It's her birthday today and I wanted to make it special~ So I drew this for her ^^~ I tried to add stuff she likes into it~ Like penguins and gothic crosses n-n~ and hey! there's even a wittle exie down there! So I hope you have a fantabulous birthday Lenna x3~ You're an amazing friend. n-n! 
The character was drawn and coloured traditionally using copic multiliners and copic ciao pens. The background was added in Adobe Photoshop CS3. Art (c)

Adobe photoshop =] New layer, multiply, scribble some colour around it, lock the opacity, colour over it in a colour gradient or style I want, then use some brushes around the character to give a glowy effect, then add some brushes from celestial-star.net~ It only takes about 20 minutes x_X but it looks really nice. I only do it on my copic pieces because i'm broke and I don't want to waste all the ink T_T
