I don't know if dA is really a place to post another's artwork... even if you admit it isn't yours, it can get deleted if you don't have their permission.

ALTHOUGH, if the source of the artwork (such as photobucket or whatever) does not lock the image, it automatically states that you may EDIT the image, or whatever it is you do, as long as you GIVE THEM CREDIT.
In other words, if the non-original artist changes the picture to make it "their own style", it counts as long as one necessary goal is accomplished. and that is that in any area of the post it says it is copyright to its ORIGINAL artist, and that is was merely EDITED by the other artist, it's considered just. However, unlike sakurablossom4, I'll point out that some artists DO lack the responsibility and sense of justice needed to mention this small but powerful detail.
