Well, my warm-up sketch for today completely turned into something else... I mean, what IF he survived it..??I actually hadn't planned on uploading this here, but then I thought "eh, why not?" Also, I have a terrible tendency of using the white, dusty background trope when I can think of no better BGs to put in, ehehe.

This is so powerful! I love the raw emotion in this piece, and holy heck the EXPRESSION ON RATCHET'S FACE HOLY MOTHER OF GOD! The pose shouts pain and betrayal, BUT HIS FACE! OH MY GOD I HAVE NO IDEA HOW YOU DID IT BUT YOU DIDN'T JUST NAIL IT YOU KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK! THE BARED TEETH! THE ANGER IN HIS FACE! HIS EYES!!!!!!!! I would imagine that Ratchet would ask why Alister tried to kill him, in which I think Alister would say something about that he would do anything to bring the Lombaxes, even if he would have to kill Ratchet and then you know how it goes in game.

You're welcome. Ratchet would definitely react like that if he survived that shock blast, but you know, he was pretty vulnerable in that moment (even though he has survived worse things without armour in the original Ratchet and clank 1).
