haha I had some fun making this one ^^
so if any of you remember Mayu and Kaori I decided to go ahead and make them profiles to expand a little more on their magical girl situation

I also decided to do that thing where some people put voice actors for their characters to show what their characters voice would sound like, and I decided to choose the voice actor of Maria Totsuka's voice cause her voice was really cute and I can see it fitting pretty well with Mayu's character
(uhhh by the way, if any of you decide to go and watch the anime that Maria Totsuka is from...a little warning, it's one of those really pervy animes (I found a gif of it on tumblr and got interested, didn't know either until I saw the first episode and I was like "OH OKAY WAIT-!") )

Real name: Mayu Himekawa

Magical Girl Name: Toumei

Magic Guide: Miri

Human form:

Before she became a magical girl, Mayu was just a normal girl.

Living with her mother she always did her best to help around the house, her mother is a business woman and when she returns home she’s always to tired to take care of anything house wise, so Mayu is usually the one doing most of the chores and is often the one cooking dinner. (she does not mind this since she understands how busy her mother is.)

In school she does average in terms of academics, having a harder time in subjects like science or math, she does better in subjects like literature. While being somewhat weak in physical activities, she greatly succeeds in home economics as she does well in both cooking and sewing.

During her free time she spends most of it making sure the house is clean and orderly for when her mother returns home. She also spends a lot of time reading, finding fantasy to be her favorite genre, and occasionally watching t.v.

As a child, watching magical girl shows was her favorite past time. She used to dream about one day becoming a magical girl herself, as she saw them as “cute hero’s of justice” who fought to protect others and got to go on fantastic adventures.

But as she grew older, Mayu slowly began to grow out of her dreams of becoming a magical girl. Though once she finally become one, she was obviously (but secretly) kinda happy.

Magical Girl form:

The moment she became a magical girl, it was both a mixture of confusion, distraught, and a little bit of happiness..?

She was not exactly given a choice to become a magical girl..the decision was kind of made for her…and there doesn’t really seem to be a way out of it either.

In her magical girl form, Mayu takes on the name “Toumei” and while she not only looks the part of your idealistic magical girl, she acts the part too.

Believing that magical girls should always help others and not fight other magical girls. Her ideology is based solely around helping others in need.

However, due to the fact that she is a magical girl, Mayu is still required to fight creatures that appear in her city in order to protect the people in danger. While not used to the idea that she would always be having to fight things, she continues to do so for the sake of protecting others from harm.

At first she was reluctant to the idea of having to fight monsters and other evil doers, as in a way she was a bit scared of having to fight at all. As she accepted the fact that she was now a magical girl, she decided to only help others and do her best to stay out of any conflicts, but if she were dragged into a fight then she would do her best.

In terms of powers and fighting abilities, Mayu is more of a “glass cannon” type of magical girl.
While she may be somewhat powerful in magics, she’s weak to physical attacks.
This is most likely due to her nature as a magical girl. Since her name “Toumei” relates to something invisible like glass (and most of her abilities relating to glass) and also due to her nature of not liking conflict, she is considered rather delicate.

Whenever she is up against another magical girl, she will do her best to try and resolve the situation without violence.
However if things do turn sour, she’ll try her best to defend herself. And if she is able to land any attacks on her enemy, she always apologizes when they get hit. (due to the fact that she does not want to hurt anybody, especially another fellow magical girl.)

Magic Abilities:

A majority of Mayu's abilities is that she is able to control some aspects of glass.

Glass Cloak-

One of Mayu's main abilities is that she is able to cloak herself in a invisible glass like state.

It makes it difficult for her enemies to see her but since it only cloaks her appearance, she must act quietly as enemies might have a chance of hearing her.

The only problem with this ability is that if she is standing near a light source, the cloak might reflect some of the light (as glass reflects 4% of light) in which case, enemies might be able to spot her.

Glass Bullets-

No Mayu’s weapon does not transform into a gun in any way.

If there is any type of broken glass nearby, Mayu is able to control it and “shoot” the glass at her enemies like "bullets from a gun.” While smaller bits of glass are good for keeping an enemy distracted, larger pieces of glass are better at attacking and have a higher chance of taking down an enemy then the smaller glass pieces.

Glass Wall-

While they don’t last for very long, Mayu is able to put up a glass barrier’s in order to protect herself or others.

The size of the glass wall all depends on how much magic Mayu has:
If the magic is plentiful, then the barriers will last longer against attacks
But if the magic is weak, then the barrier will only be able to last 3 or 4 hits before it breaks.

Thankfully Mayu is able to put up multiple barriers at once, but as her magic weakens so does the barrier, so its best to only use them during an emergence.

I'll upload some more information on how girls become magical girls in this universe, since it's different from all of my other magical girl characters

also a quick side note, if your wondering what a "Magic Guide" is, it's basically the mascot character in a way
think of like cute animal creature that's kinda like the mentor to the magical girl, that's what a "Magic Guide" is
