On our photo adventures in nature, we stumbled upon this little guy in the stream, a baby snapping turtle. So ugly he's cute, this little guy can grow to weigh about 35 pounds average, though there have been reports of them getting up to 75 pounds!The reason they're named snapping turtles is for their powerful jaws and mean disposition. As adults they can snap bones and fairly large chunks of wood. Thankfully this guy couldn't really do a lot of damage if he tried...
