To be honest, he was one of the most interesting characters of the anime. Mostly, because it takes multiple seasons to get to the point, where we all find out about the truth. And because everything we assumed at the beginning was basically false.
And I'm pretty stunned by the eye. The eyes of the Uchia clan are interesting enough with their magic symbols (Sharingan, I think), but in a more realistic style, it looks pretty cool.

I was the same. xD I thought he was a complete douche, but after his death and when you got to know about what really happened to him, I suddenly started feeling some kind of sympathy for him, and started liking him. x3 And in his very last scene after he beat Kabuto and was with Sasuke, dang den feels! x'c
