You're welcome! I think what makes this so appealing to me is how convention-defying it is, offering a new perspective by gender-swapping the usual "flirty ace hero and tsundere love interest" dynamic.
Plus it's a bit refreshing to see a couple where the male appears more conventionally attractive than the female is for a change...at least that's how I see them.

weird thing is I don't ship Sly x Carmelita normally (mainly because I just /don't/ like Carmelita, and find her a bad match for Sly), but this, this I ship.

I would agree that they're a bad match. They have chemistry, but that doesn't necessitate a relationship. I try to find ways to make it work, though because it's canon
lol that happens to me sometimes too. I don't support a pairing when it's normal, but once their genders are switched, somehow it works better

Yeah. I have yet to play TiT since I'm so skeptical of it. I mean, Carmelita is too obsessed with her work to ever accept that Sly is a /thief/ and always will be, I never see them going beyond just flirting and having chemistry. Now, if Neyla hadn't been a traitor, that might've happened. Sly is just too flirtatious and mischievous to be in a relationship with someone as serious and no-nonsense as Miss Fox...But I could deff see the gender-switched version working out for some reason.
