"feminist =/= feminazi"i'm probably going to get a bunch of shit for this, but i'll just say what i need to say.
i'm not a feminist myself, but i have seen too many people giving every feminist (including sane ones) a bad rep. there are feminist who actually do care about what they're going for and not sitting there hating men and crying about the least of problems. also men can be feminists as well. yes third wave feminism may be crap and radical feminists (AKA feminazis) exist but they tend to be louder and get more attention than their sane counterparts. radical feminists can kindly stfu because women have it worse in other parts of the world (a lot of third world countries) and hating men and engaging in misandry won't do much to help misogyny.

I think feminists in third world countries are very useful, but in western worlds, they are not needed.
(But yeah, they are different, and I as much as I really dislike crazy feminists, they aren't racists)

pretty much any "decent" person's definition of a '''feminazi''' winds up defining radfems/TERFs/SWERFs - i've not seen any feminist actually hate men, just talk about the problems men present. if a feminist claims to be a serious misandrist you don't usually have to do much digging to find out they are a radfem or a TERF/SWERF.

I guess I don't know what all is included when people talk about "being a feminist" but I believe women should be treated the same as men and that there is still anti-female sexism in the USA (Some people seem to think it doesn't exist anymore but unfortunately itΒ does...just look at almost all women in media they're always thin, always what people consider "pretty", usually wearing dresses makeup and high heels even when it makes no sense and usually are only in the book/on the show/in the game because somebody thought that they needed to put in a heterosexual romance (How many females can you think of they exist in something without a boyfriend? I can't think of hardly any, except women that people think are old or unattractive).
However, I don't think that means all men are bad or that it isn't possible for men to treat women fairly. Personally, I just want men to treat me the same way they would treat another man. People don't need to act differently because they think being female makes you different.
I also think there are a lot of women who only make the problem worse by continuing to act the way that people say "is what makes a woman a woman". (That they all love shoes and makeup and cell phones, that they aren't very smart, that they are cowardly and constantly crying or screaming like they're helpless. That they refuse to act like adults and instead choose to behave like bratty children.Β That they all want to be princesses, have babies and are always making bad decisions and wasting money...you know the list of ideas about women just goes on and on...) Β
And there are also a lot of women that act like they know everything about men (Because they think all men are dumb and easy to figure out) and that they are better than men and that men should pretty much just do whatever they say. And basically that they should be treated BETTER than men instead of being treated the same. That is no longer equality then, is it?
I don't know if that means I'm a feminist or not but I'm pretty sure I'm not a feminazi.

I live next to two feminazis and every god damned day I hear *insertantimaleinsulthere* when get into my car to drive to work, its like they wait for me. those two are more annoying than the 10th graders down the road blasting music at 1am, they have keyed my car three times, slashed my tires a bunch of times, smashed my house and car windows 5 times each and constantly call the cops on me for driving past their houses on my way back from work because apparently I am stalking them(I need to drive past their houses to get to mine considering we all live in what is called a boulevard) but the thing they do that pisses me off the most isn't even directed to me, it is directed to the old war vet across the road, yelling and screaming at the poor man for just being a male, they actually get right into the veteran's face sometimes(and mine whenever I intervene)Β

you know why so many people even dislike the "real feminists"? (please stop with this "no true scotsman"-fallacy!) because they are not doing anything about men's issues or women's issues in the third world! they just talk about "internalized misogyny" and other unconfirmed bullshit, denying open debates and are rather focused to hold up feminism for the sake of the movement itself! i'm not saying that i'm caring about these issues i've listed here. what i want to say is, if you proclaim a moral high-ground, then people expect from you to actually do things from there!

furthermore, calling yourself a "true feminist" and the feminazis "not true feminists" doesn't do shit! because there is no official "feminist card". so basically, if i call myself a true feminist, i am a true feminist, because there is no rule or law to tell me otherwise.
PS: if you don't want to be associated with rabid feminists, why don't you just stop being a feminist? feminism holds NO MONOPOLY ON DEFINING "EQUALITY"!
i can be for equality of chance and against feminism. actually BECAUSE i'm for equality of chance, i'm against feminism. because most feminists advocate for equality of outcome, not for equality of chances. equality of outcome would require a completely homogeneous (like completely lacking individuality) population of humans and we don't have that.

I completely agree with this. I cannot tell you how upset it makes me to see sane first and second wave feminists get bashed because of what the third wave has turned out to be. I'm a feminist, yes, but I don't want to dominate my male counterparts--I just want to be equal to them and be able to live in harmony with each other. It's not a lot to ask, really.Β

it does really suck that nowadays modern feminism seems to be dominated by a lot of radical feminists and just mentioning feminism will often bring about a huge shitstorm.
the fact that feminazis and sjws are so rampant will make it seem like sane feminists are almost completely nonexistent, so most people will generally think that all feminists are crazy man hating pricks, which sucks because that is not true at all. and these so called "feminists" will do very little for women in other countries that are actually being oppressed and seem more concerned about female characters in video games and other media. -_- *sigh*
