I suppose it really isn't all that well known, is it -- as compared to what it'd deserve ... *thoughtful* But then again, there is a lot of hidden greatness out there, and at least this series has a moderate following. Did you play Koudelka as well, by any chance?

Oh, that's such a shame! I've actually only watched the gameplay for that one (my brother's more precisely), but the story and atmosphere is quite beautiful. Still, if you got a taste of it I suppose it served as sufficient background to SH 1 and 2.
