The style of this drawing is soft edges. I first noticed the lighting, which is strong because there are lots of shadows: the car has a shadow, the rock formations, and even the little rocks on the ground. On the rock formations, the details are skillfully shown using shading, so we can see that the walls have a wavy surface. The car itself shows some nice lighting, with the reflection on the windshield and shading on the cars angled surfaces.
The realism here is actually well executed with some good techniques I recognize. The perspective of the car and looking far down into the scenery is beautiful. The impact is interesting: the scenery looks like plain desert, but it features great contrast between light and shadow and a dramatic effect.
