I love the way skies look before a storm 
Have you considered submitting it as stock? I don't really do photo-manipulations myself, but I think this would make an awesome background.

Thank you!! No I did not. To get as close as possible, I actually climbed into my dad's giant boat (parked in the driveway), stood on the railing, and held the camera above my head xD
